Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri today on Saturday to review the ongoing operations after five Army jawans lost their lives yesterday. The Defence Minister will be accompanied by Army Chief General Manoj Pande. Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi is currently present at Ground Zero as security forces exchange gunfire with militants in Rajouri’s Kandi. He was briefed on all aspects of the operation by ground commanders.
