A student carried a traffic policeman on the car’s bonnet for 500 metres after he refused to stop to pay a penalty. The driver, identified as a student leader, was arrested shortly after he dragged the official onto his vehicle’s front portion. The policeman has also sustained minor injuries.
It is said that the accused driver was intercepted for speaking on the mobile while he was driving.
