By Abdul Basheer: Panic prevailed at a multi-national firm in Hyderabad after it received a call about a bomb inside its office building on Thursday afternoon. The call was received on the landline number belonging to the company.
The firm immediately informed the police and soon security checks in the building began. While the police were conducting the security checks in the building, the security head of the building got a call from an ex-security guard of the same building stating he had made a hoax call and there was no bomb in the building premises.

According to the police, a security guard, who had left his duty without any information after getting a better opportunity six months ago, was suspected to have made the call.
A thorough security check was done all over the building and no bomb was found. However, a case has been registered against the caller, who has been identified, but is yet to be arrested. Further investigation is underway.
