Bajrang Dal sends legal notice to Congress, demands Rs 100 crore for ‘defamation’

The Chandigarh unit of the Bajrang Dal on Saturday sent a notice of defamation to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge saying the party “defamed” the organisation in its election manifesto for Karnataka. In its manifesto for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls, the Congress said it would ban the group if it came to power in the state. 

The Bajrang Dal has now demanded a compensation of Rs 100 crore from the Congress.
