Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Lok Sabha MP from Baramati Supriya Sule was seen dominating a badminton court in Pune on Monday. She was seen playing the sport comfortably donning a saree. The NCP MP was on an official tour in the Bavdhan area of the city.
Sule hit the headlines after her father who is the former NCP chief, Sharad Pawar stepped down as the party head and she was perceived as a prominent frontrunner for the top post. However, on Monday, Pawar said that she was not keen and “ready” to take up a new responsibility.
After Pawar stepped down as the NCP chief, speculations were rife that Sule would be inducted as her father’s successor.
