The BJP has alleged that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin pressurised multiplexes in the state to prohibit the screening of The Kerala Story, which is at the centre of controversy. Theatres in Tamil Nadu announced to have halted the screening of the movie from Sunday, citing law and order and poor response to the team as the reason. The BJP also taunted CM Stalin-led government over blocking the screening of the movie, instead of controlling a mob or miscreants who “may” stir a ruckus in the state.Â
